Alignment and Timelines

Throughout my spiritual journey, I’ve encountered some intriguing and captivating concepts, particularly those related to alignment and timelines. Let me begin by defining these terms, followed by an exploration of how they collaborate to empower us to shape our own destinies.

I’ll begin by defining alignment in my own words. When I talk about alignment in this context, I mean a state of being where a person’s soul is in harmony with their higher self. Throughout my journey, I’ve discovered that the higher self is closely connected to the metaphysical concept of Christ. This isn’t Christ in a historical sense, but rather Christ in a spiritual sense. Metaphysically, Christ represents the “true man” who operates according to the “Incarnating Principle.” What is this incarnating principle? It’s the process that initiates and unfolds in accordance with a higher law or ideal. In the context of the metaphysical Christ, this means that Christ is unfolding within the hearts and minds of every individual. It’s not through force, fear, or coercion, but through spiritual law. This implies that the journey to Christ Consciousness is an internal process that requires effort to manifest externally. When we align with our highest expression, we manifest Christ as a result. This truth presents a paradox because if we are aligned with Christ, we also manifest our highest expression. A crucial part and challenge of my journey is learning how to maintain this alignment in every day life and express its implications in my daily life. How do I stay aligned? I simply speak affirmations to myself, affirming my divine identity.

Now, let’s delve into the concept of a timeline. Even during my school days, I had a basic understanding of what a timeline was. I would flip through the pages of a history book to graphics that depicted the events that occurred between two specific dates. However, as I embarked on a spiritual journey, my perception of timelines evolved. Now, I perceive them as possibilities. I’ve come to realize that our decisions have the power to shape our timelines. This revelation was incredibly enlightening for me because, before this understanding, I believed we were bound to live out a predetermined timeline with limited control. Now, I can visualize various timelines and predict different outcomes based on my choices. This realization has bestowed upon me a heightened sense of autonomy and sovereignty. It means that I can plan for any outcome and am not subjected to any particular one. I have the freedom to alter the course of my life by simply making different decisions. Each decision leads to a different outcome.

Now, let’s explore how these two concepts intertwine. Through personal experience, I’ve come to realize that aligning ourselves with our highest selves creates a timeline that proves to be the most fulfilling. Notice how I used the word “fulfilling” instead of “enjoyable.” A timeline aligned with our highest self might not be enjoyable in a pleasurable sense. In fact, it may be the most challenging. This is because the highest version of ourselves might intentionally embrace difficult challenges to accelerate growth or gain insights that would be impossible if they chose the easier path.

Aligning ourselves with our highest expression is one of the most effective methods to manifest a fulfilling timeline.
