The Seed of Spiritual Potential

Within every man lies the seed of spirit potential. This seed of God in man, although undeveloped, has the potential to be the largest of garden plants. God has placed Himself in man in one of two ways. First by the means of the thought adjusters (fragments of God), and second by the planting of the seed of spirit potential in the heart.

Think of a thought adjuster as God realized in man, and the seed of spirit potential as God in potential. “From faith to faith” is the defining statement that encapsulates the idea of God awakening the seed of spirit potential within. God’s faith in us awakens our faith in Him. Once we see how much he believes in us, we might just believe in ourselves. When God speaks about who we are, we have the chance to either believe Him, or not. When we believe what God says concerning us, it awakens our true selves and we get the chance to become like God.

What does God believe to be true about us?

He believes that we are Sons of divine potential who are capable of sharing in His nature. When he sees us, he does not see us in our imperfection, He sees His Son, Jesus Christ. Even though we may not be that currently, that is who we are eternally. God sees and thinks in terms of eternity. Everything is working towards His perfect ideal and he challenges us to try and attain that ideal. The good thing is that we are not alone, we have the help of many different celestial personalities including the Creator Son and the angels to help us out. All we have to do is show willingness, allegiance, loyalty, and sincerity towards the will of God.

God uses different methods to awaken the seed of Christ within each and every one of us. For one person he may use a book, for another a friend, still for another he may use life itself. It all just depends on the person, and only God knows every soul uniquely. Man can plant the seeds of truth and righteousness, but only God can bring the seed to life.

Did you know that you can help God awaken seeds? Yes, that’s right, we can be active participants in helping God give birth to new sons and daughters! How can we do this? Well by sharing our own experiences of God with others. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or extravagant, just sincere and genuine.

What happens to this seed of potential after it awakens? Well, the most logical answer is that there is a process of growth that happens. The seed awakens and grows into a tree. After a while this tree begins to grow fruit and begins to produce seeds of its own, and it is these seeds that create new trees and the process repeats so on and so forth for the rest of eternity.
