Mirror Revelation

The Universal Father seeks to reveal man’s true nature in the person of Christ. The mirror revelation reveals that the person of Christ is the key to man knowing and understanding his higher self. In this revelation man comes in contact with his true nature through a relationship with the "God-Man", Jesus Christ. People often forget who they are while living their life on Earth and require daily reminders of their true identity. This is where Christ comes in. Christ is a revelation of man’s higher self in that , in him, God reflects everything man was intended to be.

And who is this true self, this higher man of moral attainment and dignity? All it's none other than the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Sonship.

This revelation reveals that as man gets to know God personally through Christ, he gets the opportunity to know his higher self. Not an intellectual knowing, but a personal, experiential knowledge of the divine. When he comes in contact with His true self through the person and Spirit of Christ, he begins to align his soul with God’s Spirit, thus becoming God-Like.

There is a trade off that happens during this relationship. God gives us His nature, and we give Him our deficiencies. This is known as theosis, God becomes man so that man can become God. What does it mean for man to become God? When most people think of God they think of His power and omniscience, but what about His love? Men don’t become God by having ‘superpowers’ they become God by sharing in His love for the world. Men who are Godlike are not necessarily super intelligent, but they are absolutely loving and service-oriented.

When you look in the mirror what do you see? Do you only see your human self, or do you also see your divinity? As stated earlier men often forget who they are spiritually because of life’s circumstances. This is natural and should not be perceived as a bad thing, but it should be acknowledged. When man forgets himself, God reminds him who He truly is through the person of Christ. But man must first gaze into the mirror of his true identity in order to see this. How does he go about doing this? He must get to know his creator and become like him by his actions. Not a hard process, just requires a bit of consistency and willingness. Everyone qualifies for the process of becoming God-like, they just must have the humility to come to God and get to know Him. Remember, Godlikeness is more about loving your neighbors and spending time with God. The more you get to know Him, the more you get to know the real you.
