The Ascending Sons Of God

40:5.17 (447.2) Series three—mortals of Adjuster-fusion potential. All Father-fused mortals are of animal origin, just like the Urantia (human) races. They embrace mortals of the one-brained, two-brained, and three-brained types of Adjuster-fusion potential. Urantians (Humans) are of the intermediate or two-brained type, being in many ways humanly superior to the one-brained groups but definitely limited in comparison with the three-brained orders. These three types of physical-brain endowment are not factors in Adjuster bestowal, in seraphic service, or in any other phase of spirit ministry. The intellectual and spiritual differential between the three brain types characterizes individuals who are otherwise quite alike in mind endowment and spiritual potential, being greatest in the temporal life and tending to diminish as the mansion worlds are traversed one by one. From the system headquarters on, the progression of these three types is the same, and their eventual Paradise destiny is identical.

It is of importance to know what type of beings we are as humans. As humans we are well aware of our physical biology and the nature of our temporal existence, what we may not be aware of is our spiritual nature and who we are spiritually. The concept of an ascending son encapsulates this nature and gives us insight concerning our true nature, origin, and destiny. An ascending son is classified as a son who is compatible with something known as an “Ascension Career”. Just like earthly careers where someone dedicates their lives to some specialized field, ascension careers occupy several lifetimes of a being’s existence. This career of heavenly origin allows mortal creatures the opportunity to evolve, immortalize, and one day find the Father of Paradise Ascent. Take note, that these careers of divine origin are carefully maintained by a multitude of celestial beings that represent higher personalities of the universe. This means that God's ascending sons (you and me) can rest assured knowing that everything that they need to evolve is already set in place.

The ascending sons of God have been given the sublime opportunity to undertake the eternal task of evolving and becoming like God. The ascension career as regarded by higher celestial beings is the sacred opportunity of a lifetime. These beings have meticulously studied the process of ascension and are certified ‘ascension experts’ who know the ins and outs of creature ascension. They know exactly where a creature should be and when it’s supposed to be there. They know what these creatures need in order to stimulate their spiritual growth. They are tried and true in matters concerning creature existence and have guided many souls onward towards paradise. From the mortal’s perspective they are teachers and guides that help with matters that challenge even the greatest of humans.

Ascension being the primary and uttermost objective of the lowly creatures should be pursued in an effort to transform all potential souls into fusion-realized citizens of the universe.
